Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma has a fair amount of caramel malts and some sweet vegetal notes. Flavour is relatively sweet and malty. There are some floral hops present but in general it’s not very bitter.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wijn&Verwonderen, Culemborg. Very dark amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with faint hops. Bitter taste. Only after a while in the glass the hops are coming through a bit. Not a bad beer at all but certainly not as hoppy as a (black) IPA should be.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber color, medium to full sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, some iron. Taste malts, again some iron, malt bitter, bitter hops. Decent to medium body, medium carbonation. Decent beer, but to me it tastes more like an amber colored bitter IPA.

Bottle feom het Biermoment, BB 16/2/2017, large sample. Clear copper color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grassy and earthy hop, bit pine, toffee, caramel, hint of dark bread. Medium bitter in taste, bit roast, bit bready, slight sharp in the finish. Aftertaste is quite sharpish and dry, not the best part of the beer. Decent attempt at a black IPA, although it does seem this is supposed to be an IPA?
