So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is off the charts with pine and citurs fruity hops. Flavor is more pure hop flavor with an fresh cut melon, a little sweetness from the malt but this leaves a huge hop coating on the tongue. What an intense hop flavor. This is one of the best beers I have had in a long time.

Pours deep ruby-tinged mahogany into a tulip. White head with medium retention recedes to skim surface. Garlic and roasted vegetable aromas. Thick with sour vegetables and garlic upfront turning to bitter earth in the lasting finish... this one has been on my list for 10 years...glad I got a chance to finally try it.. but unfortunately underwhelmed.

From 12 oz bottle to glass. Massive aroma of pine and citrus. Both take center stage, with the pine singing a longer tune as it warmed. Clear pale orange with full white head that leaves a creamy dusting across the top. Waves of foam cling to the glass. Hop flavor is piney but not over the top. The back half show citrusy juice aspects. Moderate high to high bittering, but it balances well with the alcohol and either a caramel or maris otter malt backbone that really lets this beer hold up well. Very delicious.

This is pretty awesome. Pours a clear, golden yellow, with good-sized, lasting head. Aroma includes some citrus, a ton of hops, a bit of onion even. Flavor is quite dry and astringent, with loads of piney hops, a massive citrus presence, and a finish marked by the onion. Might be the best double IPA I’ve sampled since Heady Topper.

Not really pure hoppiness. More like 80% hoppiness. Some pine but I feel like this one’s aged in the keg a little. But then again I’ve been spoiled for hops lately. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Some citrus and lots of potpourri. A fair amount of booze. Bitter boozy finish. Tap at Deep Ellum.

On tap at Duckworth’s Park. Deep golden with small white head. Aroma is herbal hops, medium body, low/medium carbonation, and pretty good smal-bubble lacing. Taste is herbal hops with nice malt backbone and some booze.

On tap at the city beer store, San Francisco . clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting tidy light cream head. Aroma is subdued, piney, c hop, spicy hop, some orange rind notes on the aroma as well. Flavour is composed of semi sweet caramel and toffee malts, crystalline sugars, grassy, piney hop, little hop matter / veg. Palate is thick and chewy, resinous hop, moderate carbonation. Lingering strawberry shortcake.
