So mega-hopped it will take you to hop heaven. We’ve used hops in the boil, more hops in the giant hopback, and added to that, an incredible amount of dry-hopping for that cutting-edge “hop bite.” Once you’ve tasted this unique beer, all others pale in comparison. 1.072 OG Classified IBU 8%ABV

Bottle from Tanakaya. Hop bomb nose with grapefruit zest, papaya, mango, green pineapple and wild strawberry. Medium body that hides the alcohol very well with average carbonation. Citrus and tropical fruit come out more as it warms. Super quaffable. Bitter on the palate with a well-balanced bitter finish with a hint of caramel. Hey guess what everybody, there’s hops in this. When I carefully bring the glass to my nose, I smell a strong hop smell. When I roll the beer around in my mouth, I pick up on some hop flavors. When I opened the bottle, some hops fell out. When I handed the cashier a $20 to buy the beer, he gave me hops for change. Fucken hops

Draft at Lupolo, 1/7/16. Mostly clear orange in color. Off white head leaves a fairly coating lace on the glass. Ripe tangerine melds with a bunch of pine to make a fairly hop files aroma. Tastes medium to heavy bitter with a lot of pine coming through. There's almost a tree sap component that works really well. Dry mouthful, yet somehow almost sticky from the tree sap. Never tried the "original" version, but I think the GF produced version is quite nice, and it is on tap in NY, so that's a big plus.

Thanks Brandon (HighDesertDrinker/Meatpuppet)
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a bronzed/burnt semi-dark caramel color with a one finger white dissipating semi-glossy and burnt out looking lacing roaming all around.
The smell had the caramel malts up front with a burnt out grassy to citrusy and somewhat grassy hoppiness.
The taste was definitely sweet through the maltiness. The hops want to show a nice bitterness, but there’s more malt and, well, I’d still say good for the most part. I’m not disappointed.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium in body with a decent sessionability to sipping quality.
Overall, DIPA, well, it works if you like the maltier ones. Yeah, I know I had one by Green Flash, hey its good for the most part, not worried. I’d still have again, but it’s not the so-called \"hoppiness\" it says it is, just saying.

5/I/16 - 12Fl. Oz. bottle @ home - BB: 28/IV/16 (2016-13) Thanks to Anthony for sharing the bottle!

Clear orange beer, big irregular yellow head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: bit soapy, fruity, piny touch, some grapefruit. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, grassy, some sweet malts, chewy hops, nice fruity notes, pineapple dominating. Aftertaste: sweet, fruity, caramel malts, somewhat resinous, grapefruit bitterness, piny finish. Lovely one!

12 Oz bottle poured. Bottled on 12/1/2015. Fresh pure hoppiness=pure happiness. Mostly clear golden pour with a thin oily head. Forest aroma, with no shortage of piney hops. Pine flavor up front, smooth cream body, with a juicy, low bitter hop finish. On point imperial here. Incredible.

12 oz bottle, thanks beerdrinker79. Aroma is citrusy, tropical, bready, caramel, clean. Pours hazy orange with a one finger beige head that falls after a minute, leaving some lace. Taste is highly bitter with flavors of garlic, pine. Not bad.

12 ounce bottle.amber orange color. Small foamy white head. Fresh pine and citrus hop aroma. Upfront, flavor is sweet caramel. Then, the big bold hops come to the table. Intensely bitter on the palate, at first floral, then piney, then citrusy. Hops, hops and more hops. Notes of pine and grapefruit in finish. Some boozy notes as well.
