On tap at Van Moll, Eindhoven, Netherlands, Thursday 28th September 2017 Gold in colour with a white head. A honey like mouthfeel to this, good bittersweet balance. It's hoppy, very hoppy and with a tropical edge but very easy drinking for the abv. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Towering, dense & fine yellow-cream head over clear golden-orange beer. Creamy nose, herbal, vanilla, exotic fruit, preserved orangepeel - sweet... and Bourbon-like? Very bitter head, resiny beer; Again a very serious dash of vanilla. Sweetish under the bitter resinload, caramel, laurel/bay leaf. Part of the bitterness is also as if chewing on bayleaf - or dill. Creamy feel from the head, very slick to oly, medium bodied. Unbalanced! And as to a vanilla IIPA?

33cl bottle. Orange pour with a tall white head. Notes of blood orange, citrus hops, tropical fruit. Really metallic-bitter taste and a harsh mouthfeel.

Draft. Aroma of caramel, vanille, cream and citrus. Taste has that weird sorachi vanilla, citrus, caramelised malt and a goei finish. Weird, but nice.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Perfumed, floral-soapy aroma, volatile notes of lemongrass, a touch of chamomile, contentrated orange zesty, marmalade basis, hints of coconut. Taste is bitter hoppy, caramel malty background with an almond touch, chalky, floral and soapy overtones; full body, soft palate, fine carbonation. The 90 IBUs almost come along as pure bitterness without fruity or any other flavourful attenuation or inclusion.

Sorachi dry hop. Bright clear gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has good fine carbonation. Fluffy malts, very light creamy sweetness. Mild hop spice. Some bitterness, floral and aniseedy. Bitterish Sorachi lemon, floral lemon. Light spicy orange. Light finish, Sorachi lemon linger. Sorachi DIPA? What’s not to like?
