WTF dacht even een lekkere lichte IPA open te trekken, want dat was mijn ervaring tot nu toe met Spaanse IPA’s, Deze versie dus niet 11.5% !. @Spanje, @Colmado L’estuca, @Girona, fles 33cl, schenkt oranje/amber met geel/witte kraag. aroma is stevig en dan naar de volle kant, floraal, citrus, stro, deeg, den, zoet en alcoholisch. smaken zijn redelijk zoet, redelijk bitter, zeer sterke smaken, stevige gefruit, sinaasappel, citrus, passievrucht, perzik, verder alcohol en het drinkt iets als zijnde siroop. redelijk tot volle body, romig en glad van textuur, aardig maar net iets té

Super hazy golden and honey coloured body with a muddied light brown glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, passionfruit, earth, caramel, caster sugar, icing sugar and a bunch of alcohol. Full-bodied; Super dense hop flavours up front with a ridiculously large alcohol bite and some honey coupled with perfume. Aftertaste shows quite a bit of piney and herbal hops, but even more alcohol and malt body with the honey and sweetness definitely there as well. Overall, a very strongly hopped beer, but also with a lot of alcohol as well, a lot of bitterness and a rich sweetness as well. Interesting and not one of my favourite Imperial IPAs, but not a bad one in all honesty. I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 18-July-2014 for US$6,50 sampled at home in Washington on 05-September-2014.

Cuerpo intenso algo par todo con unos maravillosos 11.5 vol que se notan desde el principio y que le dan una buena sensación alcohólica. Imprescindible..................Caña en el lúpulo en mayo de 2013, varias veces. Inmensa imperial ipa con un cuerpo medio a alto y unos 11.5 vol que se notan en todo momento. Sabores y aromas maltosos con tonos dulces afrutados y un buen amargo final duradero. Para repetir y repetir, imprescindible hacerse con una botella.

Amazing name, but the beer is unfortunately no hopdoom. Quite hoppy indeed, but more like hopincident, than hopdoom.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit and peach. Flavor is quite sweet and very bitter. Dry and very bitter finish with warming alcohol. 220314

Tap at ørsted ølbar. Cloudy orangw small ogfwhitr head. Aroma is strong very fruity hoppy thick malty base flavor is sweet malty some hops but mainly sweet malty

Orange colour with a white with a very good duration, medium lacework. Aroma has notes of resins hops, grapefruit, pines and light citrus. Flavor has a strong bitterness, good maltiness, some caramel, bittery oranges and grapefruits. Strong bittery final with a good duration.

Draught. Hazy, orange-amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, pines, grapefruits, sweet, dried fruits and slight hint of alcohol - showing the strength. Rich caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Full body with an oily texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with sweet fruits and grape. A bit unsophisticated, albeit not bad. Maybe a little less alcohol next time?

Keg@Fermentoren Dark hazy orange color, good off-white head. Sweet fruity hoppyness in the nose. Medium to full bodied. Lots of resin, rye bread, overriped fruits. Very strong and fruity. Maybe not too balanced and rough, but ok.
