Inspired by Latvian folk songs on juniper beer, this one will resemble a refreshing walk in our corniferous seaside forests. Brewed with juniper berries and a variety of hops derived from regional wild hops - Kazbek. Fruity and resinous, with a lightly kilned malt backbone and a blasphemously inviting finish.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear darker golden with small white head. Light flowers, caramel, dry malts, light grassy. I don’t get much juniper though it’s quite herbal and spicy. Under medium sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied.

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Labietis Mežs (Forest) ].Unclear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, flowers, wood, herbs, juniper. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, herbs, wood, flowers, caramel, juniper. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150926]

330ml Bottle - Amber with a small head. Juniper, caramel, sultanas and dried apricot in the aroma. Fruity, tangy and moderately sweet taste with juniper, raisins, sultanas, caramel and some earthy notes standing out.
