A 500ml bottle collected from the brewery last summer. Poured into a pint glass at home. A beautifully made forest ale.

Tap at PBF 2025. Muddy pale brown body, off-white head. DMS more than any real juniper notes in the aroma, light yeastiness. Yeasty, lightly malty lean, smooth taste, lightly herbal, maybe vegetal. Nice body, but the flavors are odd.

Tap at PBF. I was hoping for more juniper, rather light here. Overall pretty neutral, medium bready, toasted, light caramelly maltiness. Med-light grassy earthy hops character. Drinkable, good, but not great.

From tap at Planet Oedipus ’17. Malty aroma with caramel, toffee, creamy malt, and lots of juniper. Flavour is below medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Enjoyable with a pretty solid body, malt sweetness and soft juniper.

Tap @ MyBeer, Riga. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, fruity and light red berries. Flavor is medium sweet. Light dry finish. 100724

On tap at Labietis Taproom, Riga on 14th June 2024. Rated as a novelty ale. Hazy copper with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Ripe fruits and spices abound in-mouth, and finish is citrusy with candied peel. Light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel.
