On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy copper with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is candy sugar and toasted malt. Medium body, caramel, spice, candy sugar, boozy finish, very good.

Can from Carrefour. Very old hoppy smell and taste. Gorgeous colour. Boozy.

Shaker pint draft at Noble Rey Brewing in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a slight haze copper, darker golden with a smallish off white head. Nice lace left behind on the glass.. The aroma is big floral sweet, caramel malt along with some grass and evident alcohol in the back. The taste is very miuch the nose with big floral sweet hop, caramel malt, grass resin and alcohol in the finish. The drying alcohol burns and lingers a bit in the aster taste. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and mineral sweet alcohol finish. The booze strengthens as the beer warms. This is a solid Double IPA, though it reminds me why it is a style I don’t drink much anymore.
