Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt, tart dark/red fruits, chocolate, caramel, some bretty funk, wood, and some vinous notes. Flavour is tart and moderate sweet with some roasty bitterness. Body is disappointingly medium. I wish this were more full and rich.

I Draught /I Very good, fine yellow-beige head, very regular over jet-black beer. Fruity notes for a stout, obvious lactic acid/Morpheus; breadcrust, Maillard? Not wrong, but a bit uneasy combination between the Morpheus sour and the sweet-super roasted De Molen recipe. Ironoxide in the head!!! Bit Schwarzwald Kuche-like with kirsch and chocolate notes, but again, hesitant. Very well-bodied, but less than one would expect frm 10% - acidthinning? It's... interesting.

Draught @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Alvinne / De Molen Brood en Spelen ].Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, sweet malt, tart, sour, wood, brett. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, sour, woody, sour wood, dark malt, light leather - brett. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180921] 6-2-7-3-12

Funky sour stout. A tad sharp. Lovely colour but a bit astringent which is unfortunate as I love both breweries immensely. Update it gets better as it warns up. Lovely beer.

Bottle. Pours black, small tanned head fades fast to zero. Smell is sharp, typical morpheus. Mild red fruits, almost a woody note. Mild roast. Taste is typical morpheus, roasty backbone. Chocolate. Lactic acid, slightly. Thin body. Médium carbo. Mild red fruity touch. OK, but not what I hope for in an imperial stout.
