[ As La Calavera No Gods, No Masters! ].
ABV: 8.0%. Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, funk, oak, light tobacco. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sour, tart, wood, barrel, oak, brett - leather, light tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20190928]

Sampled at Borefts Beer Festival 2019, day 2. A bit hazy amber dark amber color, small beige head. Smell and taste malts, fruitpeel, (typical something…. Can't put my finger on it). Not my thing though.

Tap @ BBF 2019. Amber color. Oak, berries and a hint of caramel in the aroma. Sour bretty flavor with berries and a hint of remaining sweetness. Oak. Surprisingly soft.

Tap. Deep amber-copper color with beige head. Aroma is leather, tobacco, earthy, nice wood, a bit vineous. Taste is woody, tobacco, leather, tannic finish. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very nice balance, great Oud Bruin!a

7 3 7 3 14Draft at BXL Beerfest ‘18, Brussels. Hazy orange brown with an off white head. Aroma of overripe dark fruits, caramel, malt and citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thanks to the RB crew for sharing! Sampled draft @ BXLBeerFest 2018! Dark red amber with no head. Nose is vinous, vinegar, acidic,… Plastic, vinegar, bit too nail polish okay,… Like a way weaker St. Bon Chien.
