29/3/2025. Bottle from an De Bierliefhebber online store. Pours close to black with a small frothy tan coloured head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, ginger biscuit, caramel, nut, touch woody. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Nicely done.

Bottled@SBWF2018. Murky brown colour with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some toast and mild alcohol sweetness. Flavour is chocolate, some coffee, mild alcohol, some toffee and also a bit toasted tones. Booze shines through quite evidently.

Black with a small tan head. Roasted aroma with liquorice, dried fruit and cherry. Sweet roasted flavour with just the right amount of fruit.

Tap. Murky brown color with almost no head. Aroma is cherry, chocolate, schwarzwälder kirsch. Taste ia schwarzwälder kirsch again, with some bitter roasty kick, mild tartness. Almost flat, some tannins. Solid!
