Stevig blond lentebier.

Many thanks to Mirko & Stefan for bringing this back from Texel! Smooth mild and fruity beginning. Very soft and smooth, hints of caramel, Belgium yeast. Soft grain, moderate sweetish, round and mild. Hints of typical "Heller Bock" aroma in the back, not too sweetish with a nice smooth grainy clove ending with hints of Banana. Very nice.

Towering, light-yellow head, stable over clear orange-copper beer. End of bottle solid yeast and UFO’s. Bananaester, very intensely. Some spicy notes, yeasty and other esters. (’Hot" to make it "Belgian"?) Cookies with herbs and spices. Bitterish, then sweet. Lots of toasted and sweet malts. Some concentrated orangejuice, esters, alcohol. Banana again retronasal. Bit fiery MF. Medium bodied, serious carbonation. It’s 7.5% ABV, so it ought to be Strong Belgian ale at least. But was it meant to be "Belgian" ?
