330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, off-white head. Slightly bready, minimally toasty and spicy malty as well as peppery spicy, yeasty aroma, hints of dark bread crust, some white pepper, black pepper. Taste is slightly dry, yeasty, peppery spicy, minimally toasty, bready, spicy malty, hints of dark bread crust, white pepper, light tart-ish, unspecific fruity counterpart. Slightly oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously slightly dry palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Homogeneous, balanced, neither overly complex nor demanding - very nice.

0.33 l bottle from 'Hopfenrausch', best before October 2019. Clear, deep amber with a medium large, slightly fluffy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately fruity and slightly grassy aroma of strawberry, straw, honey and some clove. Slightly sweet, quite dry, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy, moderately grassy and slightly fruity taste of strawberry, caramel, straw and clove, followed by a short, gently bitter, a bit tart, quite dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Drinkable, not that great though.

Sampled @Festival der Bierkulturen K�ln 2018. A slightly hazy golden blond beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild fruity hops, citrus, flowers. Taste of wheat malt, pepper, mild banana.

Süffiger, herb würziger Beginn. Weiche Herbe, getreidig, mittellanger Nachhall. 10/8/9/8//8
