27-01-21 // 330ml bottle. Thank KT. A good example of how not to bottle ferment. Gusher. Loads of sediments. Yeasty notes amd unbalanced. Opaque amber brown. Fine beige head (actually the best part of the beer). Aromas caramel, sweet dried fruits, light roasted sugars. Mild herbal earthy bitterness. Higher carbonation. General taste isnt too bad but the wrong bottle fermentation doesn’t make the beer really enjoyable. 0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat' at 6.6% abv, best before June 2019. Hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly floral and a bit fruity aroma of honey, dried apricot and some grains. Quite sweet, malty, slightly bitter, moderately fruity-floral taste of honey, caramel and some dried apricot, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, very lively carbonation. Pleasant, well-balanced Bock, unfortunately quite over-carbonated.

330ml bottle [6.6% abv]. Cloudy amber colour with average to huge, fluffy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish malty aroma with a minimally grainy and husky touch, hints of yellow stone fruit, a touch of honey. Taste is mellow malty and slightly bitter hoppy, a touch of honey and yellow stone fruit, some grassy hop. Clean, flawless, drinkable.

(bottle) Slightly hazy, deep golden colour with a beige and short foamy head. Aroma of cider with notes of overripe apples with traces of caramel in the background. Mildly sweet and delicately tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly malty taste with notes of ripe apples and caramel in the background, also hints of baking yeast; mildly sweet malty and slightly sour-fruity finish. Not really convincing. 31.VIII.18

Bottle: Deep golden with a ruby sheen, small but persistent off-white foamy layer; burnt malt, caramel and metallic-mineralic traces in the moderate sweet-bitter nose; moderate - as well - sweet-bitter flavour, hardly medium bodied, fizzy and tart; lingering dryish caramelly and grassy finish. Not a good Bock...

Wenig würziger, hell getreidig herber Beginn. Weich, sehr süffig, spritzig. Hellmalzig, etwas Vanille, mittellanger Nachhall. 8/9/10/9//9
