Bottle pour (3/10/20) from Harvest Market, Bedford (R.I.P.). Appearance is clear orange-light amber with light, lazy sparkle, finger-width off-white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is moderate pine, malt and milder citrus fruit. Taste is strong bitter resinous pine dominating caramel malt and less strong lemony citrus. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with frothy texture, lively carbonation, nice alcohol warmth and dry, bitter finish. Overall, pretty good old school DIPA (which makes sense given 3 of the 4 initial base IPA's were released 2013 and before). More bitterness than I tend to like and a bit too carbonated for the style.

12 oz bottle. Pours yellow amber, clear, with an off-white head. Piney hop aroma hinting at citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is again pine hops and some citrus, herbal hops, occasionally tealike, over a nice but not overbearing malt base. Really nice.

12 oz. Almost two months old. Aroma is cantaloupe, toast, Smarties. Pours clear new penny copper with some tiny sediment and a large cream-white head with excellent retention; leaves curtains of lace. Taste has a highly bitter pithiness with some faint candy sweetness. I'm not getting any of the citrus qualities the label talks about, other than citrus pith. It's good, though.

12oz bottle. Pretty solid IIPA. Filtered orange-amber body. Nice hop depth, seems touched by Mosaic or something to give it that peachy mango juicy tone. Filtration keeps it drinkable. Big, deep malt tones nonetheless. Rather neo-classical IIPA. Good.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Deep golden bordering on copper with a huge off white head that persists. Citrus and dank pint with a bit of watering alcohol. Pretty old school lots of tangerine and grapefruit.

12oz bottle. A nod to the imperial IPA of a few years ago. Big and bitter - you know it’s strong right away. Pretty darn good
