Bottle from Oddbins. Appearance - amber red with a decent off white head. Nose - sweet malt. Brown bread. Taste - more brown bread. Ryvita. Palate - light bodied with a thin dry middle section. Dry malty finish. Overall - liquid bread basically.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear ruby amber with a thin white. Strong malt syrup aromas, vaguely drainy too. Taste is better, but still syrupy. It’s OK I guess.

Bottle from a St.Peter’s brewery event at Russell & Newnes, Aldeburgh, Suffolk. Thought I’d give it a try. Pours deep chestnut brown with an average sized off white head. Aroma is very malty, sweet, touch of light fruit and nut. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Malty/gassy/syrupy finish. I suppose as low alcohol beers go it’s ok but certainly doesn’t encourage me to give up proper beer.
