Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy pale golden. Citric tart nose with some butter and mild buttery smoke. Light bodied, tart and citric with spritzy mouthfeel. Slight bacon and rubber. Refreshing, yet flavourful.

On tap at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2012. It pours an unclear, orange-yellow body and a small, white head. There’s a light smoke touch in the aroma, which is mostly wheat-ish and citrusy. Pleasant but a bit boring. The same goes for the flavor, with a nice bitterness lurking in the background. Citrusy, lemony mostly, with some smoke notes and wheat. Tart, medium-bodied and thin. Citrus peel in the finish. Although a bit boring, it’s certainly easy drinking and quenching. 120511

10/11/12/12/9/12

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons, as well as lighter notes of smoke and malt, leading to a dry and slightly tart finish.

65 cl bottle (4,2%) @ vPBF, bottled 13.02.2012
Aroma is stale and somewhat tart with apples, metal and some smoke. Very foamy palate. Flavour is really tart, sour and dry with some apples and hints of metal. The smoke occurs in the aftertaste once all the sourness is gone. Quite unique.

Bottled 500ml (vPBF, alc. 4.2 %, bottled 02/2012)
Hazy yellow color, quickly collapsing white head.Very grainy, smokey aroma. Light bodied. Crisp, citrusy, tart flavor, Berliner Weisse -like. When citrus flavors vanish, then smoke comes in. Interesting, although not something to drink in regular basis.

660ml bottle @ vPBF

Pours light yellow with some murky notes. Earthy aroma with hints of malts and meady notes. Taste is sour and fruity with hints of spices. Finish is dry and sweetish with some sourness and fruity notes. Okay, quite untypical.

Bottle 65 cl. Slightly hazy yellow with a small, white dissipating head. A tart lemony aroma with a distinct note of smoke. Light body, dry, lemony, salty and tart with notes of smoke and baking yeast. A bit of a mess to be honest. 280712

Keg at CBC, London. Pours cloud yellow with a faint foamy head. It’s a smokey berliner weisse. There’s definite smoke throughout the aroma and flavor, along with mild tang and moderate sweetness. A interesting marriage (smoke+tangy berliner weisse) and it works very well. (3.8)

Bottle at ChrisO Holiday Tasting, London - thanks to Henrik! Pours cloudy, pale yellow with a fine white foam. Interesting nose, white bread and dough and hints of smoke. Very tangy flavor with definite smoke, some corn. It’s a really odd combination but it does work. Tangy lemon to finish with lingering smokey malts. Fresh and good. (3.9)
