Bottle, first from Damián bottle shop second from Pivný raj. ...and I was giving it second chance before rating as I was really not impressed. And I'm still not. It has solid west coast kick off which moves to lovely hoppy bitter mids but tail. Tail is bit nasty and doesn't fit into overall experience... Well.

On tap at Damian, pours an opaque dark reddish amber with a small white head. Nose is full of resinous and bitter piney hops upfront, with bready malt. Flavour is quite bitter, with piney hops and crisp biscuity malt. Lots of pine cone bitterness. A bit on the malty side, but it works well. Nicely made.

0.3 l on tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, reddish amber with a medium large, slightly creamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, moderately resiny and a bit fruity aroma of pine, some tobacco and a touch of orange jam. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather resiny and just slightly fruity taste of orange jam, pine, some tobacco and a touch of grapefruit, followed by a short, medium bitter, resiny and slightly grassy finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Solid, but lacks the hoppy freshness of a real San Diego IPA.

Tap at Salon piva. Lots of fruitiness, med-high bitterness, but slightly too low carbonation which makes for a slightly socky muddled beer. However it is overall rather good.
