Light brown colour with lasting thin head. Aroma has nice roasted coffee and also a light yeasty funk. Flavour has nice balance of sweet malts and coffee. Floral hop notes in the finish.

Weich herber und leicht säuerlicher Beginn von Kaffee. Mittelstarke Bitterkeit, trockener Hintergrund, die Kaffeenoten bleibend angenehm. Süffig, langer Nachhall. Gut. 9/10/10/11/12/11

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before December 2018. Clear, dark reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty and slightly fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, lots of coffee, strawberry jam and some pine. Medium sweet, malty, rather bitter, quite roasty, slightly fruity-resiny taste of caramel, massive coffee, strawberry jam, raisins and pine, followed by a short, rather bitter, quite roasty and fairly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Works out well, pretty intense flavours but not unbalanced, overall very enjoyable.
