Clear light brown colour with lasting thin head. Aroma and flavour have some light caramel malts and a little nuttiness. Unfortunately there's a rough and dusty taste that dominates too much. It seems excessively bitter.

33cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a huge most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, pine, resinous hops. Taste of dry resinous bitter hops, mild coffee, caramel, long bitterness.

Milder, fast wässriger Röstantrunk. Herb-malzig, wenig aromatisch, die Röstnoten verschwinden weitestgehend. Kurzer Nachhall. 9/6/7/6/8/7

0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before December 2018. Clear, deep reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a bit resiny aroma of strawberry jam, some caramel and a touch of pine. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity and a bit resiny taste of strawberry jam, some pine and a touch of caramel, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.
