0.33 l bottle from 'Holy Craft Beer Store', best before July 2018. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, rather herbal-spicy, resiny and quite fruity aroma of lots of spruce, juniper, lemon and pineapple. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, fairly resiny, rather herbal-spicy and quite fruity taste of lots of spruce, juniper, orange and some pineapple, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, herbal-spicy and resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very strange stuff, pretty much like freshly cut spruce wood, very intense, but the combination with the fruity hops works very well. Couldn't drink that much of it, one bottle is more than enough.

BB 30.07.2018. amber cloudy color, medium big off-white head. smells of resin, spruce, bit grassy, bit earthy, nice smell but could use a bit more complexity (rather heavy on the resin). medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of resin, spruce, pines, earthy, peppery, some grass, light veggies, herbal, thyme, tobacco. finishes medium bitter with notes of resin, spruce and pines. rather gimicky beer, decent overall but rather one-sided, quite herbal / grassy / spruce-ish notes, not sure I can drink the whole bottle of this. Also already shows a bit of age. Overall still rather nice though.

Sampled @ 3. Mainzer Craftbier Messe 2017. A hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized good lasting off-white head. Aroma of pine, wood, medicine. Taste of sweet herbal fruits, pine, grapefruit, medium bitterness, interesting.
