(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a delicately ruby shine and a short and slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly toasted malty and grainy aroma with fruity and resiny hops. Moderately sweet and cautious bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Slightly grainy and toasted malty base with a hammy/smokey touch, traces of caramel and slightly fruity hops; sweet and mildly bitter hoppy finish with a mildly smokey tail. The ingredients do not fit together here, imo. 05.I.18

Herb-würziger, moderat hopfig-bitterer Antrunk. Vollmundig, trockene Bitterkeit, die Würzigkeit nimmt ab, die Bitterkeit scheint zuzunehmen. Wenig rauchig. 10/9/7/8/8/7

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before September 2018. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish, slightly smoky aroma of sauerkraut, smoked ham and some caramel. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, moderately smoky taste of caramel, smoked ham, sauerkraut and some nuts, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather smoky finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Bottle at a Tasting. A slightly hazy dark golden beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of soft roasted malt, sweet, hints of bacon. Taste of mild sweet smoked malt, bacon, flat body, nothing special.

bottle, thanks to pivnizub! Hazy deep golden with a mid-sized head. Malty base with a shy touch of caramel and shortbread, resiny-herbal hops and a fruity yeasty touch.

Fläschla: Hazy, deep golden with an orangey sheen, small loose off-white head; distinctive nose of herbal hops with a tinge of spruce, rural yeast and pale malt; moderate dryish bitter flavour with a delicate sweetness underneath, relatively light bodied; lingering dry herbal-hoppy finish. Disappointing! Not well rounded...
