330ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and minimally strawy, pale malty aroma, weak hoppy overtones with a touch of grass and green apple, minimally doughy, yeasty overtones, herbal-leafy whiffs of nettle. Taste is slightly grainy and minimally spicy, pale malty, mildly bitter hoppy with a grassy and minimally fruity as well as minimally herbal touch, hints of green apple, very subtle residual sweetness. Watery texture, dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Relatively grainy, a bit cautious - so-so.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Doughy and delicately grainy malty aroma with notes of grassy and slightly herbal-spicy hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Doughy and slightly mineralic malty base with grassy hops and traces of herbal spice; dry and moderately hop bitter finish. Rather boring. 27.VII.18

Bottle: Light golden with a greenish sheen, small stable white foamy layer; mild to moderate bitter-sweet herbal-grassy nose with a slight metallic tinge; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite light bodied, but quite soft at least; slightly lingering, but mild grassy-herbal finish with a well hidden malty counterpart and a returning metallic tinge. Not the worst Bier from the ugly Sauerland...

Bottle, courtesy of Koelschtrinker. Pours clear buttery yellow with a medium head. Aroma is light butter, a bit of DMS, pale malts and traces of grassy hops. Body is light, softly sweet but quite bitter mostly, with a low carbonation. Still buttery, also metallic. Sweetish palate. Okay.

Herb-metallerner, mild getreidiger Antrunk. Die Metallnoten weichen einer nichtssagenden Hopfigkeit, trocken, zunehmend hellmalzig. Schnell wieder vergessen. 9/7/7/6/7/7

0.33 l bottle from the brewery, best before October 2017, bottled a few days ago. Clear, pale golden yellow with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, grassy-spicy, slightly floral and a little fruity aroma of fresh grass and a touch of citrus. A bit sweetish, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy, quite floral and a little fruity taste of fresh grass, some grains and a touch of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, grassy-spicy and quite metallic finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Could have been a pretty nice beer if it wasn’t for that fairly metallic finish.
