0.5 l bottle from ’Akzenta’ (Barmen) as ’Wuppertaler Bernsteinbock’ (probably an alias of Goldbock?!), best before October 2017. Clear, golden amber with a large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Faint, sweetish-malty, slightly floral and abit grassy aroma of honey, caramel and some straw. Quite sweet, malty, slightly floral taste of caramel, honey, some wine gum and a touch of apricot, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit grassy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite okay, a bit bland actually.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear amber colour with a small white ring. Taste of reddish malt, ripe fruits, caramel. Taste of caramelish malt, bread, strong malt, some ripe fruits, good one!

Hellmalziger, deutlich getreidiger Antrunk. Süffig bei mittelstarker Süße, mild herb. Konstant getreidig, wenig Karamell. Gefällt. 8/9/11/8/9/9

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden to light-amber colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly toasted grainy aroma with bready notes, caramel and a touch of honey. Moderately sweet and delicately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Soft malt-character with notes of bread, caramel, honey and restrained spicy and slightly flowery hops far in the background; moderately sweet honey-ish malty and cautious bitter hoppy finish with a deceptively muted alcoholic strength. Easy-going Bock. 01.VI.17

Bügelverschlußflasche: Deep golden, clear, bigger, persistent and lacy white head; honeyish and pale malty nose, mild hops and papery traces underneath; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodiec, soft and creamy MF; gets slightly drier and hoppier towards the malty and honeyish finish. A quite well drinkable session Bock...
