Im Brauprozess dieses hellen obergärigen Bieres wurde beim Hopfenkochen frisch geriebener Ingwer hinzugegeben. Der fruchtige und leicht scharfe Geschmack der Wurzel harmoniert perfekt mit den dezenten 28 Bittereinheiten des Willamette Hopfens. Schon beim Einschenken ins Glas strömen die verschiedenen Aromen als Zusammenspiel in die Nase und bilden ein komplexes Geschmacksprofil.
Mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 4,9 % und 12° Plato Stammwürze wird unser Ingwer Pale Ale zu einem exotischen Genuss.

13/10/2018. Bottle courtesy of Boris, cheers! Pours golden with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrus, root ginger, sweet crystalised ginger, grass, flowers and vaguely of washing up liquid. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Light body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Very pleasant level of ginger to this, though a little weak otherwise.

Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Mix of grain, hopbitterness and pretty strong ginger notes. Bittery palate and ginger at finish. Medium body, just below average carbonation. Ok beer if you like ginger.

Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours hazy orange golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. aroma of ginger, cinnamon, spices, yeast. Taste of fruity bitter hops, bitter herbs, ginger, overall okay!

Bottle from Rudat. Fresh grainy nose. The beer starts fresh with a nice bitterness, the ginger is there, but well hidden. The whole brew is very dry, much better than the "Single Hop Comet" one. Nice dry and not too grainy body, the hops are nice bittered and the ginger is fruity in the aftertaste. Nice combination, but still lots of grain there.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma exposes a complementary mixture of fresh ginger and citrusy hoppy notes. Taste is initially ginger supplemented citrusy hoppy, tending more exclusively towards lemon in the middle part, a loss of intensity leads to a minimally watery finish. Very appropriate use of ginger, not the smallest hint of soapiness - extra point.

0.33 l bottle from ’Biermuda’, bottled in December 2016. Slightly hazy, orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Faint, slightly fruity-herbal, a bit grassy aroma of ginger, some honey and a bit of orange. Slightly sweetish, fruity-herbal, a bit grassy and minimally resiny taste of mainly ginger, honey, orange and a bit of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, herbal-grassy and rather dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Maybe a bit too much ginger, other than that quite nice, doesn’t taste that fresh somehow though.

Frische angenehme Ingwernoten im Geruch. Im Antrunk primär Ingwer und wenig Hopfen, Zitrus, keine Bitterkeit. Spritzig, es fehlt an Tiefe, selbst als der Ingwer nachlässt bleibt der Hopfen im Hintergrund. 8/9/8/6/8/8
