01-10-16 // sample from bottle at Herbst Craft #3, Frankfurt. Depp black with beige head. Nose is roasty malts, some whisky and alcoholic notes. Taste is loads of raosty dark malts, hints of chocolate. Then a intensive whisky note. Texture is light oily. Massive stout. Can only get better with cellaring.

Sampled from 0.65 l bottle at Feingeist 2016. Clear, very dark reddish brown to black, no head. Sweetish, moderately roasty-malty and a bit fruity aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, dark ripe fruits and a bit of coffee. Slightly sweetish, moderately roasty-malty, a bit fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, some coffee, dark ripe fruits and hints of iodine, followed by a long, moderately roasty-bitter, minimally warming finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, a bit thin, and a touch of acetone maybe, but still really good!
