Taste is slightly harsh mineraly, sour-ish coffee, minerals, harsh vanilla, dark berries, burnt caramel, dark roasted grain, grass, paper, weeds. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

[ As Alpha State Vanilla Mocha Shake ].Clear dark black color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, mocha, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, vanilla, mocha, roasted - chocolate bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20140817]

Draught@CBC2015. More or less pitch black colour, with a mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, some vanilla, mild wooden acidicness as well as some mild toffee. Flavour is very similar in a nice balance, along with a somewhat hoppy bitter touch on the finish.
