Bottle, at Haandfest. An amber colored beer, unclear, with a lasting off-white head. Caramel, a ligth fruityness, bread, some roasted malts and dried fruits, a good dash of alcohol and a resiny, citrusy scent in the aroma. It's full-bodied, with a soft bitterness, mostly on the sweet side, with a little bit too low bitterness level I think. Caramel, bread, some dried fruits and a hoppy citrus and resin flavor. Lasting and lasting finish. A beer for the quiet times in a good chair. 170526

Amber with small off white head - Good malt aroma with wood and bourboun as well - Malt body with wood, alcohol and some fruity tones - The malt, dark fruity tones, wood and bourbon goes into the finish - This was real good

Bottle shared at Foeders' bottle share Oct. 2017. Dark brown color. Beige head, quickly receding. Aroma's: caramel/toffee, some red fruit/raisins, boozy. Retronasal there's toffee, sweetness, alcohol, some fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet, dark malts, alcohol, light bitter. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Long finish, moderate bitter, slightly dry.

[ As Kees #01 Anniversary ].Clear dark to medium brown colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, dried fruit, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, wood, caramel, sharp, dried fruit, tobacco. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcohol - sharp - tobacco. [20170920] 7-3-6-3-12

At Pre-Borefts tasting. Aroma of raisin, caramel and ripened malt. Taste has raisin, caramel, ripe fruit and a bitter finish with some pine. Tastes too old already.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with tiny white head. Aroma is raisins, figs. Taste is raisins, chocolate, brown sugar, tart, a bit off in the finish, with a weird and a bit unpleasant aftertaste that reminds of tobacco. Low carbonation, sticky mouthfeel. Not totally convincing.

Big sweet malts, syrup, barley, raisin, red berry and dried fruit fruity, light licorice, leather, light grass and quite buttery. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Over medium body, soft carbonation.
