Relative rates it’s a continuation of our dC/dt line of beers, which explores how something changes relative to the rate of change of something else with goal to understand and tune the process that give rise to our EQ juice.
Relative Rates uses a blend of modern hops and pours a hazy bright yellow. We get whiffs of tropical fruit, citrus, sweet tangerine and weed on nose. It’s flavor is tropical fruit, big citrus, plenty of melon with and undercurrent of faint strawberry.
The finish is resinous but starts off soft before the juicy undertones take the lead. Think warm breeze, bright sun and beach drinks made of OJ, Melon and Berry with our signature #EQJuice profile.

Keg @ Oluthuone Haka, Helsinki.
Poured orange in color.
Ripe mango in a full body. Has a light bitterness fortunately that saves this beer. Citrus/lemony notes in aroma as well. Gets more vivid as it opens up.

Not sure what went wrong here but something. Rotten lemon vibe. Pours hazy orange with decent soap bubbles. Super tart finish. Snally.

US Pint can at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is grainy, herbal, woody. The flavour is over moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, earthy, herbal, light grainy, light citrus, melon, big woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Tangerine aromas. Soft with sweet tangerine and passion fruit front to back. Medium length hot pith finish.

Aromas are overripe citrus, straw, marshmallows and fresh cut hay. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, citrus comes out more slightly sweet at first and then going more bitter. Not bad not great.

Pours a hazy, golden-lemon yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is tropical fruit and some citrus. Flavor follows, with a fairly bitter middle and finish.
