Draft at Canal Street location before the Bruins played the Pittsburgh Penguins. 2/24/2016. Slightly hazy gold in color with some legs of head. Aromas of grapefruit, pineapple, and floral/grassy boldness.
Taste of grapefruit, lemon/orange peel through the center with the floral and grassy notes coming in on the finish. It does display a good amount of hop varieties here to give this profile. The texture has a big dryness from the bittering hops. Medium carbonation and medium-full, yeasty body. The bitterness rides the line of being overly abrasive. Alcohol is also kind of noticeable in the flavor. I mean, it is what they say it is, a huge IBU, booze monster of an Imperial IPA.

Lots of pine and citrus and respectably done overall. Lots of pine actually. Nice fresh hops here. Surprisingly good. Pours golden with great head and lacing. Light bitter finish with some hint of sweetness. Tap at Fenway brewpub.

Friendly easy smell, nice for an IPA in the age of BO smelling hops. First taste does not hide alky well, big boy kick in the ass. Wew, give me a pale lager for a refresher. Terrible on style mean ass ipa.
