Bottle shared with tomschijns. Many thanks! Cloudy golden colour, white foam. Dry and bitter beer. Grassy, hay, light floral. Bitter hoppy finish. Good.

Cloudy (though bubbles are visible) deep orange amber color, big frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma at first somewhat shy, lemon, orange, apricot, marmalade, grassy, soap. Taste medium sweet, medium bitter, citrus, herbal notes. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, bit spicy mouthfeel, finish dry bitter, spicy and herbal notes, overall a nice saison.

Bottle at Chez Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles - Brussels. Pours clear amber-gold with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has some toasted cereal grains, berries, ripening orange. Medium sweet flavor with cereal sugars, bitter grain husks, some dirty hay, citrus rind, light tangy tangerine. Light-medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with further cereal grains, some dry bread, berries and leaves, slight tart berries, leather, earth. So so.

Saison made by Nova Birra at De Ranke. Stable, creamy, yellowish white head, cloudy amber robe. Flowery aroma, honey, lavender, soap, caramel, cooked rhubarb. Fruity taste with light citrus freshness on a caramel malt base, mild leafy and bit spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Nice but I had better saisons.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy orange to dark golden color, average sized off-white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell malts, slightly sweet, slightly floral. Taste is about the same: some malts, lightly yeast, slightly sweet and slightly floral / blossom. Average body, a bit firm carbonation.

Bottle @ benzai. Slightly hazy orange with a small to medium sized white head. Smells malts, fruity, slightly yeasty, a bit dusty. Tastes watery, malts, slightly hops, a bit fruity, slightly dusty. Thin body, slightly fizzy carbo.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Li P’tite Gayoûle ].Clear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light caramel, moderate yeasty, saisin yeast, spicy, leather notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity, hoppy. light saison yeast, funky notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft - fizzy. [20140409]

weet al niet eens meer waar ik dit flesje heb gescoord. lotnr: B18T20, gusher (-1), leuk etiket (+1). amber/rood helder met mega schuimige witte kraag aroma van bloemen, mout, zoet, caramout en fruitig smaken van matige tot redelijke zoetigheid, matig bitter, matig sterk, licht fruitig, redelijk moutig, redelijk kruidig, licht metalig maar niet echt storend, droog, abrikoos medium body, glad in de mond, maar vooral lekker smaakvol, ja deze was prima te drinken !

Flaska från Beergium. Äppeljuicefärgad, klar om inte bottenstasen får följa med, lågt snabbt försvinnande skum. Stor citrusdoft plus saisonjästens örtiga jordighet. Lätt oljig, örtig, fruktig och blommig, rejäl gul citrusbeska som ligger kvar länge i eftersmaken. Nu är jag ju väldigt svag för denna typ av öl. Men rejäl, men ändå väl avvägt humlad saison av Ranke. Det kan inte bli fel.
