CO2 hop oil is the liquid extract made up of many hop oils & resins that have been removed from the plant matter. Hop lupulin powder is similarly hop oils & resins removed from most of the plant matter but is solid, not liquid. We used both products along with hop pellets to create an intense spectrum of hop character. Simcoe powder, Citra oil, Amarillo, Citra & Mosaic pellets.

From tap at the source. Hazy yellow orange color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, dank grassy, floral, pine, tropical and citrus fruits. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at the Cooler. It pours a nice lightly hazed pale yellow color with a creamy white head. Looks great. The aroma is potent with fresh dank, crackery malts, citrus and light passionfruit. The flavor is crackery and creamy with lime, kiwi, lemon and passionfruit. Light to medium dank bitterness. A little chewy pale malts, but they’re light. Snappy finish. One of the best Cellarmaker IPA’s I’ve had in a while.

Draft at Cellarmaker. The beer is a light orange gold tan color. It’s nearly clouded through. Small white head. A little bit of lacing. The aroma is very ripe citrus and tropical fruit. Deep fruitiness. Big pineapple, orange, apricot, mango, kiwi. At least medium bitterness. Odd powdery, astringent texture. Fairly dry. More bland bitterness than I usually get from Cellarmaker.
