Blend 1. Jammy, juicy and tart with some funky farmyardy notes, mild sourness and loads of raspberries. Bottle shared by Tom, thanks! Pours a hazy dull raspberry with a white head that starts at the edges and dissipates quickly. Aroma has strong sour raspberry with light oak and a funky hay underlying. Flavor has sour and acidic raspberry with light oak and a bit of funky hay underlying.

Draught at OH: pours reddish pink with white head. Aroma is loads of pure raspberry, vinegar. Taste is very sour without being too acidic. No sweetness and loads of raspberry.

Sergey's hunt, tasting at Ryan's, bottle
Cloudy red colour. Strong raspberry aroma. Horribly sour, aggressive, completely unbalanced, wit some sour raspberry juice. Amazing lack of class.

375ml (thx, Brent for proxying and Matt for helping with the border crossing) shared @ Ryan's. Appearance: hazy purple with a white head. Aroma: tons of raspberries with some residual sweetness, some seaweed notes on the back. Taste: along the same lines, very nice raspberries in here, but it's very acidic. Overall: another acidic bomb, despite having a very nice raspberry character.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Pinkish red with small white head. Tart raspberries with a hint of kelp? (not quite but close in flavour)

375mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark reddish pink with a small white head. Aroma reveals tart raspberries, wild yeast, and an awkward seaweed note β I swear that's not just me; other people here got the same. Flavour is nice upfront, with tart, fresh raspberries upfront, but the finish is quite strongly acidic. There's not a lot of complexity to this, but the raspberry character is nice upfront at least. Good, but nothing special.

Pours a very dark rose red, cherry red, yet very clear. No real foam. Scent is intense funk, fleshy raspberry. Taste is very full, smooth, sharp acidity ( lactic, touch of acetic), fruit acid as well, intense raspberry, jammy by concentration, but no chemical undertone. Funk, wood. Not as complex and deep as raspberry lambic, but fruitwine just damn awesome, surpassing those traditional ones, even. Basebeer is amazing to American standards, to BE ones it's still pretty solid. All and all, a more than respectable beer!
