(6/24/08) Draught at Pivovarsky Klub in Prague. As "Stepan Nefiltrovany Svetly Lezak". Slightly hazy golden with a small white had. Aroma of yeast, some malt and hops. Sweetish malty flavor with some yeast notes, some bread, faint caramel hints and a nice bitter hoppy finish. Medium-bodied. 6/3/7/4/14=3.4

(6/24/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Prague. Clear golden color with a white head. Aroma of has hints of vegetables, a bit of yeast and malt. Sweetish malty flavor with a bit of breadiness and light bitterness in the finish. Light to medium body. OK. 5/3/6/3/11=2.8

(Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague, 19 July 2008, labeled "Stepan Nefiltrovany Svetly Lezak") Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of hay and toffee. Malty, clean, fresh taste with hints of grass and a citric bitterness in the finish. Nicely balanced, but lacking the hop punch of the other Dum Svetly (couldn’t really figure out the distinction between them since that one also seemed very unfiltered to me). Nice pilsener.

(Draught at Pivovarsky Dum, Prague, 19 July 2008) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with huge frothy off-white head. Malty, grassy nose with notes of hay, toffee and citrussy hops. Malty, grassy taste with hay and toffee leading to a citrussy finish with brilliant bitterness. Balanced sweetness, very fresh. Ah, yes ... this is what a Bohemian pilsner should be like. Lovely!

Golden color, small white head, lace. Lemony hoppy nose. Nice hoppy bite over the citrusy notes. Well-balanced unfiltered beer with some bitterness in the finish.

Golden color, small white head. Lemony-malty aroma. Crisp, lemony hoppy, slightly acidic. Refreshing. A bit tropical fruits in it.

Draught. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is malts, vegetables and mild hops. Flavour is fruity, malty, earthy and mildly yeasty and vegetably notes.

Draught at Pivovarsky Klub, Prague. Lightly hazy golden, small head. Surprisingly brutal hoppiness. There’s hat and resin from the first sip. Perhaps the dryness of this beer shifts the focus away from the bready, grainy malt that is there to the hops. Finishes with lingering powerful bitterness. Quite lovely!

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden with small head. Grassy, dry and medium bodied, fairly well hopped. Bitter finish. A well made traditional Czech beer.

on tap at Pivovarsky Klub. Golden yellow colour, slightly hazy, medium-size head. Lovely hoppy aroma. Full-bodied, malty base, lovely grassy and lemony hops, slightly fruity.

Hazy blond color. Light hop aroma. Some malt taste, and a powerful hopping, aromatic. Good, but less characteristic than others in Prague.

On tap at the brewery tap. Slightly hazy gold with thick white head. Quite herby hop. Again, a bit thin in mouth/watery . But herb/pepper hop is god. Biting hop on end is very good. Some yeast on aroma. Probably the best beer here.
