Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. It had a very strong dough and bread character, positively, and the sourness has a distinct fruity accent, grapes and yellow plums; highly carbonated and smooth. A bit lemony in the final.
Very good.

Pours a deep golden color with a thick white head that diminishes slowly. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, yeast and bready malt. Light-bodied with a vinous character and flavors of herbal yeast, doughy malt and citrus. The finish is mildly tart with a white grape and yeast aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bottle. Cloudy golden body with a fizzy white white head. Aroma of lemon, toasted grain, green grapes, funkiness. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and moderately acidic. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of lemon and tart grapes. Not much depth. Thanks wnoble.

GABF 2013. Pours a yellow appearance with a white head. Herbal/straw/hay, slightly floral, funky, light tropical fruity aroma. Fairly dry, funky, lemon, light woody flavor. I wasn’t overly impressed with this one, but as with the other beers by these guys, I would love to try it again. (3.4)

2015 bottle. Heavy gusher. High carbonation. Tropical fruit and lactic acid. Refreshing and cheesy. Better than before. (3.6)

Capped 750 from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma is light fruit and herbs. Med body or better. Flavor is quite tart - goes herby. Acidity! Actually rather citrus. Reminds of Berliner Weisse.

Tap at APEX, PDX, 26/05/13. Lightly hazed pale yellow with a thin white head. Nose is sour apples, lychees, lemon rind, funk, lactic notes, grass. Taste comprises sour fruits, apple skins, grapes, light sugars, funky notes, lactose. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sour tarte fruit notes in the finish. Solid enough sour but not much depth to this one.

Super hazy deep honey coloured body with a bright orange glow and a thick, two centimetre tall white head. Aroma of sour grapes, yeast, brett, oak and a very nice sweetness. Medium-bodied; Assertive effervescence with a lot of grape and sour notes, tons of oak and brett flavours with a lingering lemony and sweet hint at the end. Aftertaste shows a lot of character with a little malt and wheat, some light grassy and herbalness and a very pleasant sourness which lasts long after a final sip. Overall, a very nice beer and one to sample if you can find it - a great offering, and very happy to be one of the first to try it! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods (Pearl) in downtown Portland, Oregon on 11-April-2013 for US$9.49 sampled at home in Washington on 19-April-2013 - and will pick up another bottle of this in a few days when heading back West.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy bronze with a medium white head. Aroma bring out some tart dark fruits, some barnyard notes, and some vinegar. Flavour brings out tart farmhouse notes, tart lighter fruits, some medium funk, and medium acidity. Quite complex, finishing on medium funky and acidic notes. Light-bodied and highly drinkable. Great stuff.
