Bottle: Very deep amber coloured with a ruby sheen, big, stable and creamy tanned head; quite rich nose - but mild - nose of toasted malt and coffee, caramel, vanilla and milk-chocolate, herbal hops in the background;moderate bitter-sweet flavour, delicate acidity, medium bodied, smooth; soft and lingering toasty-coffeeish finish with a balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Very well crafted session Porter...

11.2oz bottle. Opaque brown-black body. Thin off-white head. Sort of an odd pungent chocolate aroma...true to style but not that enjoyable. Medium to full bodied, quite creamy on the palate. Has that pungent lactose fruity twang to it, which I’m sure would go over well in the West Indies. Doesn’t have a lot of depth, kind of has that macro feel I’m not wild about. Drinkable, OK.

Bottle. Black with a touch of brown. Nice creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts, Butter and cookies. Taste is roasted malts, liquorice, dark chocolate, coffee and toffee. A splash of butter and a couple of crumbled cookies. Carbonation is higher than Guinness Draught but it lacks in creaminess. Long lasting aftertaste that prominently showcases the hops. Balanced and well made. I really enjoy it but I would absolutely love it with a little less carbonation and a little more creaminess.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Dark malty and fruity aroma, notes of plum, a touch of liquorice. Taste is roasty dark malty, slightly chocolately, cautious fruity hints of plum compete with metallic overtones and a salty touch of liquorice. OK.

0.5l bottle. Black body with a thick beige foam. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, berries and floral hops. Taste of chocolate, roasted malts, toast, floral hops and grass. True that it’s hoppier than the original Guinness, but I prefer the latter. Maybe it’s just because the nitro makes it creamier. Anyways I expected this one to be a bit bolder. Definitely a nice stout, but I expected more.

Dobry porter, z cala masa palonych slodow gorzkiej deserowej czekolady, kakaa holenderskiego, troche w zapachu jak skorupa orzecha wloskiego. Czarne jak bezgwiazdzista noc, brazowa piana ladna wystajaca poza pinte Guinnessa, ale dosc szybko opada. W ustach caly czas zalegajaca palonosc slodow. Wytrawne na zakonczenie
