Bottle piecjased somewhere in the UK fall 2016, breweed May 2016. Black, initially a thick tan head. Heavily roasted malt, some sugar, and little red wine and a very loght and mild sour flavor. Great, thick palate with good carbonation. Great porter.

Sprawiają wrażenie nieco suchych i szorstkich.
Pierwszy łyk przynosi nieco kwaśny smak mocnej kawy, nuty palone, może nawet nieco popiołowe. Goryczka mało wyraźna, sprawia wrażenie zduszonej kwaśnością.
Nasycenie niskie w kierunku do średniego, pasuje.

Kolor czarny bez prześwitów. Brązowa, drobno pęcherzykowa piana jest wysoka i wcale nie chce opadać. Delikatnie zdobi szkło.
Aromat umiarkowanie wysoki, słodowy, palony, kawowy, i wreszcie karmelowy.
Smak lekko wytrawny (kawowy) z odrobiną kwaśności na finiszu.
Nasycenie wysokie, szybko powoduje uczucie pełności. Ciało średnie w górę. Tekstura miekka, gładka. Posmak średnio długi wytrawny z odrobiną kwaśności w tle.

Bottle from Tesco. A really tasty porter which is light and yet full of flavour and almost zingy in flavour. Tasted like a good bit of Ireland had been taken to the Caribbean ans taken on some of the character. Re rated, bottle from supermarket. I was prepared to take this rating considerably down despite remembering really enjoying it as my old rating system was far more generous. I was pleasantly surprised to say this beer stayed exceptional and even more than I thought. It delivers on so many levels for me. There is that milky, chocolate stout texture, matched in equal measure by the light, more watery porter flavour. It has moments of coca cola with its lively fizz. Slight sour sweet raspberry mixing with Turkish coffee. I just really enjoy it. Re-rated in bottle at Family Pub Malmö. Taken from 4.5 to 4.1. Well sad to say this time I wasn't so in love as the times before. It is still a beautiful beer and has gentle subtle chocolatey, coffee notes and is very smooth to drink but quite watery and not as velvety as other porters.

From 50cl bottle. Pours dark brown, a little reddish, with medium foam, cappuccino. Aroma is nice, with coffee, caramel, a little herbaceous. Body is light and with low carbonation. Taste starts almost bitter, but maintains a good sweetness. Finish is less interesting, as aftertaste is not enjoyable.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Signal Variety. Appearance is very dark brown with ruby highlights, light sparkle at the sides of the glass, less-than-finger-width foamy light brown head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, hints of chocolate and vanilla, earthy hops. Taste is bittersweet roasted malts, earthy hops, late coffee and toffee. Palate is medium bodied with thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, some decent complexity here. Slightly above average all around.
