Bottle. Pitch black colour, beautiful frothy head. Aroma is intensive roasted malt, some coffee. Light bitterness. Soft carbonation, creamy texture. Good.

Bottle. A- Malty, peat, blood, rust A- Black color, black liquid, light brown head. T- Malty, cocoa, watery. P- Medium body, thin body, flat carbonation, boring finish. O- Had a best buy date that I well passed yet says it was made for the long trips oversees. Seems a bit hypocritical. Not my favorite porter by any stretch. Lots of malt, iron/metallic flavor and thin bodied.

Bottle. Pours black with a dense tall head. Aroma is some chocolate, quite some grassy hops, but this head kills basically any nose Body is medium, quite sweet with a roasted and only a lightly burnt bitterness, chocolate, dense, silky and smooth. Sweetish malty chalky palate. Highly drinkable, good!

Decent dark beige foamy head and black body with a hint of ruby when you shine a light through it. Soft aroma of barley but the carbonation is hitting it in such a way that a bad nose angle could reveal dog hair. Flavour is strong shoe leather and charcoaled beef jerky. Heavy and smoky flavour makes this one interesting.

50 cl bottle. Black color with a thick creamy ligh tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is quite malty, oaty, apery with moderate hops. Taste is creamy, sweetish, light bitterness. Medium-thick body, nice texture but sadly bland, below expectation. Solid porter though.

Aus der Flasche am 2016-05 getrunken. Na geht doch Guinness! Hier trifft Schokoriegel auf Espresso und das auch noch recht vollmundig ung richtig gut abgestimmt. Lecker!

Bottle from Co-Op, New Haw. Most of it is in a stew, my wife managed to save exactly 100ml. Coffee aroma. But with sour cream. Dark and glossy. Can't comment on the head, been open a while. Medium bitter. Tart berry/citrus edge. Medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Abrupt finish. Not bad. Easy drinking.

Bottle. Opaque almost black liquid. Moderate beige head. Average retention. The nose reveals dry roastiness, caramel, a hint of smoke. Light to medium body. Dry taste. Roasted malts, toffee, prune, coffee. Light to medium bitterness. Very decent porter.
