Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 30A: vanilla / base: 20A). Can 45 cl - Batch undeclared (BB: undeclared). AROMA: medium roasted malt aroma with chocolate character. slight resiny hop note. low vanilla background. APPEARANCE: very dark brown color with ruby highlights. medium light brown head, creamy, with good retention. TASTE: initial medium-high roasted malt notes (initial chocolate that evolves to roasted), complemented by faint dried prunes and a vanilla background. medium-high bitterness with an almost dry, slightly bitter and roasty finish. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a nice american porter with added vanilla.

Taster at 2 Tread taproom. Black/ brown pour with small beige head. Light roasty aroma leads into a much fuller taste, hints of chocolate. Smooth with a nice bite at the finish.
