A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread, leading to a dry roasted finish.

(On tap @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Feb 16 2016) Pours black with nearly no head. Aroma is very much chocolate liqueur and toffee malts, light roast, alcohol, light nuttiness and vanilla hints. Flavour follows the aroma, a bit thin and sweet with lots of chocolate liqueur and slight coffee. Caramel. Little bitterness or roast. Light to medium body with almost no carb and some significant booze. The relative lack of body and apparent alcohol rather undermines what could be very good chocolate flavour here, definitely not Amager’s best stout.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Oh boy, chocolate it is, in an extremeness that I’ve never seen before. It is good, but the aroma and taste could be a bit more varied.

Tap @Taphouse. Pours black in color with a thin brown head. Chocolate mousse, coffee, roasted malt, cocoa nibs. Awesome. Flavor has chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, licorice. Dry, but long finish. Amazing.

Keg at Orsted Olbar, 30/04/15. Pitch black with a moderately appointed dirty tan covering that thins to spottage. Nose is rich roast, cocoa rub, vanilla fudge, spice, dark malts. Taste comprises rich roast, charr, bitter notes, raisens, dark fruit tones, molasses, dark chocolate. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok but lacks a little depth for me.

Draught at KØ15. Roasted and vinous aroma. Black colour. No head. The flavour is roasted with a mild chocolate note, chocolate powder and chocolate bitterness. Vinous finish to balance it, perhaps a mild sherry note.
