Pours a very dark, cola-brown, with smallish cocoa head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of coffee, dark fruit, licorice, chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet, with coffee predominating, along with prune, raisin, chocolate, vanilla, licorice, and just a touch of alcohol/booziness. Very smooth flavor and finish. Not as complex as some of the giant stouts out there, but this is very tasty.
