Our curiosity continues with an intensely kettle and dry hopped Double IPA primarily featuring Simcoe and rounded out by Citra! The base of Twenty Eight is straightforward to allow the unique and intriguing characteristics of Simcoe to shine. We experience flavors and aromas of red grapefruit and fruit punch contrasted by fresh cut balsam. Our house yeast provides a familiar character and plays beautifully with this wonderful and expressive hop. Despite its focused and intense flavors, this Curiosity drinks easily and finishes quite softly.

Light brassy-golden body is fully hazy with a medium sized white head showing moderate retention.
Light maltiness adds delicate honey as the hops combine mango, light cherry and just a touch of spicy pine. Dank, green, fresh hop notes pepper the finish which shows no sign of alcohol or resin. Soft, delicate and yet with a good depth of complex tropical, citrus and vegetal notes.
Supremely soft in the mouth with perhaps a bit more malt texture and residual sweetness than usual, though it serves only to make the beer softer with tight carbonation combining to produce an almost creamy texture. Cherry, mango, dank, green notes and just enough bitterness to balance. Flavors continue to swirl about and evolve with the dank, green, almost fresh herbal character coming to the forefront as the beer warms and breathes.

From can. Hazy yellow color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, grassy, pine, citrusy fruity, tropical fruits, bread, oat. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Pours a very hazy, light peach color, with a good-sized head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of citrus and hops, with some tropical fruit. Flavor has some tropical notes--mango or papaya--along with a goodly amount of citrus and hops. This one is also strangely sweet--not as bitter in the finish as some of their others. Again, outstanding beer!
