Flip-top bottle (Bierzwerg, BB 03/2010)
Hazy orange color, good cloudy off-white head, lace. Strong aroma of diacetyl and toffee, also evident sour notes. Flavor has sour lemon, diacetyl and some toffee in the finish. Aftertaste has lingering citrus. Body is quite watery. I wonder if all of their bottled beers are like this?

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clozdy pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of strawberries. Medium-bodied, pleasantly wheaty and yeasty with lots of ruit, mostly strawberries, hardly any banana flavours. Unusual and very nice indeed.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor and acidic is sweet with notes of lemon, wheat, and malt, leading to a dry lemony finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a huge off-white head. Yeasty and odd aroma. Medium body, sour citrus accents - seriously sour like most bottled Braustelle. Rather foul really. 161209

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy pale orange, small creamy head. Fruity banana aroma. Sweetish and fruity, medium bodied with high levels of carbonation. Notes of custard. Like most of Helios beers you feel that you are sitting in an American brewpub and not in a German bierstube. There is more surface and diversity in their beers than authenticity and depth.

Bottle [Thanks to DSG] @ Zythos Bier Festival 2008, Sint Niklaas, Belgium. Hazy medium orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, horse blanket, barnyard, soap, earth, light banana. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (020308)

(3/2/08) Sample from a bottle (thanks to Koelschtrinker I guess) at the RB table at Zythos Bier Festival 2008 in Sint Niklaas. Cloudy yellow color with a white head. Aroma of pretty stinking yeast, almost infected-like, some wheat and a bit of fruits. Sweetish flavor with some wheat and some light fruity esters. Some late tart notes. Medium-bodied. Aroma is unpleasant but the flavor is OK.
