Tap. Prohibition Pig Taproom, Waterbury, VT. Very dark, chocolate brown. Dense, off white head. Fruit and nut chocolate. Cocoa. Big vanilla. Taste is soft, creamy sweet. Fruity, tangy dryness. Some roast bitterness. Good fizz, that lifts the sweetness. Finishes fruity and vinous with a soft, roast bitterness.

New England Bucket List Trip Beer #119. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a dark brown with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of rich chocolate, vanilla and a roasty finish. The taste is rich chocolate, vanilla and a roasty finish. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, mild nuts, herbal hops. Medium-full bodied, smooth.

Pitch black 3 finger dark brown head. Light coffee and unsweetened chocolate aroma. Great Java roast taste up front. Vanilla middle and a lingering vanilla finish. The integration of these isnβt great.
