Julius gone wild (not funky wild, like insane hop saturation wild)! For the second special edition of Julius brewed specifically for the third anniversary party, we pushed the level of citrus to the fringes of obscenity through additional kettle and dry hopping with the base Julius hop blend. The result is perhaps the most juicy and delectable creation we have ever made! Preposterous Julius, in the best way imaginable.

Pours a very nice hazy bruised peach color from a can. Slightly faint tropical and stone fruit aroma, a little bigger in the mouth. Pretty good beer.

Hazy golden with a white head - Fruity citrus hop aroma - Malt body with a fruity citrus hop flavour with some bitterness - The hops goes into a fruity hop finish that ends dry - This was real good

473ml can. Smooth, slightly malty, quite hoppy and fruity with some tropical notes, orange juice, pineapple, mango, hints of hop burn and increasing bitterness. Quite balanced but perhaps not quite worth the hype. Regular Julius and King Jjjuliusss were better.

Cracked this thinking it was a regular old Julius until I inspected the can! Thanks Brendan ! Nice hop bite, though tropical. Great combo! Here's me with The Ghost.

Pours deep mango into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet honey and mango aromas. Spritzy with orange and mango upfront turning to hot pith and peel in the dry, lasting finish.

ABV: 6.8%. Murky - muddy matt - golden medium orange colour with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, light onion. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, fruit juice, grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20200425]
