Julius gone wild (not funky wild, like insane hop saturation wild)! For the second special edition of Julius brewed specifically for the third anniversary party, we pushed the level of citrus to the fringes of obscenity through additional kettle and dry hopping with the base Julius hop blend. The result is perhaps the most juicy and delectable creation we have ever made! Preposterous Julius, in the best way imaginable.

Poltoramiesieczna pucha. Troszke granulatu, troche cebulki, niemalo jasnych owocow (grejfrut, ananas, pestkowa brzoskwinia). Gladkie w uscie. Chlalne. Raczej slodkie. Goryczke zastepuje lekuchny, dosc sympatyczny dla mnie hopburn. Pyszka duza sniadaniowa

Can (1/21/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is orange juice with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width white foamy head with fair retention and tons of sudsy lacing. Aroma is strong orange citrus and scalliony herb. Taste follows aroma but is less identifiably orange in terms of citrus. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, creamy, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and fairly dry finish as taste with slight bitterness to offset the sweet. Overall, very strong aroma and flavor but not complex. Body is a little thin but creaminess is nice.

Acquired a can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom! Can date of 1-21-20. Is this any different than then King Julius? Maybe a tad more juice? How much juice can one IPA actually have? After reviewing my notes of king Julius... Yes this has a huge juicy character. This also has absolutely no bitterness. No green hop either. So the fruit juice, lasts and lasts and lasts. This really is tasty. Soooo, ok... I like it.

Can at share, thanks Preston: pours opaque light orange haze with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit, mango, papaya. Taste is fruity, with a moderate bitterness for an NEIPA. Quite good.

Can. Pours hazy yellow. Peach, lemon, perfume, nectarine, pear, tangelo, little pepper, little berry, nice bitterness in the finish. Good soft body. Really nice.

Can shared at Southern Grist. Thanks Tyler! Pours a hazy orange gold with a finger of creamy white foam that lingers. Sweet mikan, pineapple, peach and apricot on the nose. Creamy and juicy on the palate. Sweet tropical fruit and citrus. Lingering chewy malt, mango and tangerine. Soft and juicy with big hop flavors and touch of dank that lingers.
