On tap at session muskoka. Aroma is all coconut with light sweet roast and cocoa. Lightly toasted malts, sweet burnt brown sugar and all of this is covered in a sweet thick blanket of coconut. Not bad but over powering,

Bottled. Black colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is coconut, some slight alcohol and plum. Flavour is roasted malts, ashes, some toffee with coconut and mild tones of alcohol too. Overwhelming coconut.

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Black with brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, heavy coconut and cocoa. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. Not as sweet as expected. Too much coconut for my liking. 040318

Aus der Flasche im 2017-09 getrunken. Schon vor dem öffnen der Flasche nimmt man am Verschluß ein fettes Kokusaroma wahr. Im Glas ist diese Aroma so stark konzentriert das es fast wie ein Parfüm wirkt. Und am Gaumen...da...da...da ist nicht viel mehr! Hier ist zuviel Kokus um die typischen Schoko/Mokkonoten des Stouts Platz zu lassen. Der Alkoholgehalt kann das Aroma gar nicht tragen und so ist der Abgang recht kurz. Spannendes Stout was aber etwas mehr Balance braucht.

750ml bottle @ ISKTR. Pours pitch black with a tiny head. Aroma of coconuts, roasty malts, cocoa, vanilla and coffee. Taste is sweetish, heavy with coconut and vanilla notes, mild roastiness. Finish is sweetish, slightly roasty and earthy with some coconut and vanilla. Quite a coconut overdose.

Aroma has VERY strong cocoa notes. Also some chocolate. Flavour has cocoa all the way, also licorice and some chocolate. Dry finish with mild rubbery tones and licorice. Also dark chocolate. Like eating a Bounty bar. Could work for a cocoa lover but not for me.

750 ml bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Black color with beige brown head. Aroma is malty, light roasted, bounty, coconut and chocolate. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma is really strong with coconut. It’s like sun tan lotion. Tastes like a Bounty bar. Sorry. I really dislike coconut.

Tsated from the tap on the 03/03/2016. Opaque black colour with a nice foamy beige head. Aroma of coconut and sugar. Taste is sweet, coconut, sugar and roasted malts. A lot of coconut on the mouth and on the nose. Next one please!
