Old rating - A 330ml bottle, a gift from my cousin's honeymoon. Pours a low red colour with a white foamy head. Aromas of fruit. Tastes of barely malt & caramel. Full body with a mild touch grainy bitter finish. Very good old fashioned English style ale.

Bowttle. Clear dark red good white beige head. Aroma of caramel and nuts. Taste of malts, nuts, metal, caramel and toffee. A little bit boozy and vaguely fruity. Moderate bitterness. Medium carbonation. It’s alright.

Aroma is sawdust and malts, coffee , caramel Flavor is nutty malty, spicy, slightly yeasty, bit like Danisco Christmas beer

Bottle at Fava, Edinburgh. Pours clear dark red to amber with a thin beige head. Aromas of caramel and nuts. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish.
