Bottle. It’s an unclear, yellowish golden one, topped by a thin layer of bubbles. Intense apple aroma, maybe a bit sweetish, with apple cores and some orchard. The flavor is a tad sweetish, was expecting more sourness, with some orchard hints. Medium to full body. A decent cider, although a bit sweeter than I’d prefer. 130216

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of gunnfryd. Pours a hazy golden with no head. Sweet apple aroma with quite some present tannins. Medium body, hardly any carbonation, initially sweet and then some peely tannins come creeping in. 160213

500 ml clear bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.3%. Golden colour, cloudy only when the sediment is disturbed. Very moderate carbonation. Aroma of fresh and oxidised cider apples. The flavour is medium dry, notes of cider apples of course, but some more bitter apples would not hurt. The subtle carbonation makes it quite refreshing. Like in most ciders, sulphites have been added for preservation, but they don’t come through here as distinctly as in other ciders. Little if any oak character. There are rougher scrumpies than this around.

33 cl bottle (4,7%) @ home, BBE 02/2014
Aroma has some slightly floury apples, leathery and distant earthy notes. Flavour is slightly tart with slightly floury green apples and some yeast. A bit watery palate. Finishes leathery. Good, but I expected a bit stronger aromas here. The conversion of ABV for Finnish market (5,3->4,7%) has taken away a part of the soul of this cider.
