Bottle 0,5l. Bright golden coloured. A large creamy head that fades quickly. Faint metallic aroma. Caramellish flavour. A bit disappointing: Watery.

Bottle: pours a light copper colour with a rapidly disappearing head; aroma has hints of fruit and hops; taste is very sweet and metallic, the mango is present, but itโ€™s hard to pick out anything else in the sticky sweetness. Disappointing.

500ml bottle bought at Systembolaget and consumed during Die Stadezeit with Catweazle and Finn. Nice bottle design, but with a so-so content. Dark amber in colour. Fading white foam. Fresh malty aroma with hints of fruit (apples). Light caramel flavoured turning into a kind of woody sweetness. Watery and thin palate. Not much for a British xmas ale (28.12.2006).

Bottled. Copper coloured, mediumsized "naturewhite", foamy head. Aroma is hops, grass and some malt with some metallic hints. Also some slight fruits. Flavour is flowery hops, slight caramel malts and also a bit metallic in the flavour. Weak orangejelly in finish along with the grassy hops. Not really any aftertaste.

Vintage 2006, alc. 5.5%.
Clear amber color, small white head. Sugary, barnyardish (maybe mix of sweet fruits), orange note and metallic nose. Crisp, malty, sweetish. Hops and toffee in the aftertaste. (6/3/6/3/12 3.0)

Bottle, had this on holiday 11-11-06, but picked up in Sainsburyโ€™s Kidlington some days before. I was rather underwhelmed by this beer, it was another xmas disappointment on the seasonal beer front. there were some spicey notes and flavours in this amber coloured beer but overall it came across as just too ordinary and ok to keep me interested for long.
